Prom Announcement

Juniors & Seniors, We are pleased to announce that we are planning on having prom Saturday, May 22nd, 2021! Of course, it will involve some safety precautions, but we know our students will be responsible and abide by safety measures accordingly. We will have it at the Turner Agri-Civic Center. Additionally, we have amended our school dance participation policy due to the challenges that Covid-19 has presented students this year and hope that eligible students will use this opportunity to make some positive lasting memories by attending. The prom participation policy is as follows: 1. MUST be passing 5 out of 7 classes 2. No major disciplinary referrals (coded as SESIR in the Code of Student Conduct) 3. No arrest record. 4. Having received no notice of trespass to school events or district property In addition to the eligibility requirements listed above, juniors and seniors will need to purchase their tickets when they come available the week before the prom. Please remember that any non-DHS student guests must be pre-approved in order to attend. Forms for prom will be uploaded onto our Schoology page and our school’s website soon.
